AGNE Hiring Ad for CDL-A Truck Drivers
Creating this video was one of the most challenging projects I have ever had to work on. I was given a 3-week timeline to shoot and edit this video with nothing but an iPhone 11 and the vague instructions to make a documentary-style promotional ad to highlight the amazing work of our truck drivers, inspiring new hires to join our team. After filming, however, it was clear that the original concept was not achievable without more preparation, so the HR team that had requested the video asked that we pivot into a more TikTok-friendly delivery. We did not shoot the footage with the aspect ratio of mobile-optimized footage in mind, so the final product was a compromise between the two.
Going forward, I built the video around the storyline of a typical delivery, showcasing what the drivers do daily. Picking a high-energy, rugged-sounding song that would appeal to the demographics HR was looking to target with this ad. Cutting on the beat with large bold text, showcasing the benefits.

The final result was that this video received 4,150 views in its first promotional run, 159 clicks, and led to the hiring of someone who specifically applied after seeing the video.
